About Community Nursery School

At Community Nursery School, we believe in nurturing the whole child and honoring the uniqueness of every individual who walks through our doors. As a state-licensed preschool for children ages 3–5, we are devoted to supporting each child’s healthy social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development through a warm, intentional, and play-based learning environment.

We recognize that young children grow best when they feel secure, valued, and understood. Our curriculum is designed to meet children where they are, offering age-appropriate experiences that inspire curiosity, strengthen emerging skills, and build confidence. Through meaningful play, guided exploration, and caring relationships, children learn to express themselves, solve problems, and interact compassionately with others.

In addition to nurturing children’s overall development, our program provides the essential early literacy, math, social-emotional, and self-help skills that ensure each child is fully prepared for a smooth and confident transition into kindergarten.

Our goal is to bring each child’s development into balance, fostering a strong sense of self-esteem, empathy, independence, and joy in learning. By embracing the whole child - mind, body, and heart - we strive to create a foundation that supports lifelong growth, resilience, and well-being.

We proudly welcome all children and families and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, political persuasion, disability, or ancestry.
