Community Nursery School

Registration for the 3K (3-4 year olds) classes is held during late January/early February for the following school year. Siblings of past students are eligible to pre-register. Remaining spaces are open to the public on a first come, first served basis.

Registration for the 4K (4-5 year olds) Monday through Thursday class is coordinated by the Appleton Area School District. Please visit the AASD website for details.

Children enrolled for the first semester are automatically enrolled for the second semester.

​

CNS is a preschool and offers programs for 3-5 year old children. It does not offer a day care program, wrap around care or provide transportation.

2025-2026 School Year 3K Registration Information:​

• Registration for siblings of past students for the 3-year-old program will be held on Monday, January 27th, 2025 via an online Google form that will be sent in an email that morning by 6:00am.  Registrations will be time-stamped as they come in.

  • Legacy families on our list will be contacted with registration dates and information via email in early January.​

  • If you think you're a legacy family, please email cnsappleton@gmail.com to make sure you're on our email list to receive the Google form link that morning.
     

• Registration for new families for the 3-year-old program will be held on Thursday, January 30th, 2025 via an online Google form that can be accessed here on our website beginning at 6:00am.  Registrations will be time-stamped as they come in and classes will be filled in the order registration forms were time-stamped/received.​​

  • We will start a waitlist if classes fill​ during registration.​

• 3K students must be 3 by September 1st or 4 on or after June 1st and must be potty trained to attend.

3K Class Times:

We offer two sessions for our 3-year-olds.

• Monday/Wednesday class (8:45am-11:15am)

• Tuesday/Thursday class (8:45am-11:15am)

​

These classes are taught by a lead teacher and a teacher assistant.

​

Class sizes will be set at 14 children per class for the 2025-2026 school year, and we will start a waitlist if classes fill during registration.  Please note that class size is subject to change based on enrollment, waitlist, staff & board decisions.​

3K Tuition and Fees (3-4 year old classes):

Tuition for the 2025-2026 school year is $600 per semester.  Tuition includes registration fees, instruction, supplies, and a daily snack.  A $200 deposit will be due within one week of receiving your class placement email in order to hold your child’s spot.  The deposit will be applied towards the first semester tuition payment.  Remaining first semester tuition is due at the beginning of September during the 3K Welcome Day.

Deposit Refund Policy (if family cancels out of reserved class spot for any reason):

**all refunds will be in the form of a check mailed to the family​ within 2 weeks of filling out the refund form

• Before August 20th: Family receives $125 of deposit back

• August 20th - 30th: Family receives $75 of deposit back

• After August 30th: No refund

Health Exam & Immunizations:
CNS is a state licensed preschool and as such requires students to have a current health exam and to be up-to-date on immunizations, including the Varicella or Chicken Pox vaccine and the Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV).

• ​Current CNS 3K students & CNS Legacy Families going into Appleton Area School District 4K Program:

  • Priority Registration will be January 27 - February 9, 2025 through the AASD website.

• Appleton Area School District 4K Open Enrollment:

  • Open Registration begins February 10, 2025 through the AASD website. Visit the AASD 4K website for more details.

4K Class Times:

​We offer an AM 4K session & a PM 4K session

• Monday-Thursday: 8:30-11:45 am

• Monday-Thursday: 12:20-3:35 pm

 

These classes are taught by Amy Dugan (AM) and Heather Pingel (PM) and a teacher assistant.

AASD 4K Community Partner - $15 supply fee

CNS Legacy Families:

• CNS Legacy Families (families who have had children attend CNS in the past) may complete the Google form linked below if you would like to be added to our legacy family list and be notified of 3K and 4K priority registration dates for younger siblings.  We do our best to reach out to families using the information provided to us but we recommend you check our website or email cnsappleton@gmail.com in early January to check registration dates for the upcoming year.
